Full and Partial Dentures
Full and Partial Dentures are artificial teeth that serve the purpose of missing teeth which have been lost due to injury, decay or gum disease. Missing teeth can make the facial muscles sag there by giving an older appearance, aside from affecting speaking and chewing functionality, and causing the jaw bone to deteriorate. Dentures can be fabricated so that they match the appearance of your existing teeth and provide optimal bite.
Partial Dentures
Partial dentures or partials, consist of a few teeth that are fabricated on a base that resembles the tooth gums. The prosthetic teeth on the partials fit with the existing teeth like puzzle pieces such that they fill the gaps from the missing teeth. Brackets or clips may be used to secure the partials in place. Partials are removable, unlike dental bridges.
Full or Complete Dentures
Full dentures consist of a complete set of teeth for the bottom or top that are mounted on a gum-like base. They can either be open or close palate, and are secured in place with the help of adhesives.
